Miley Cyrus returned as the host of Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party and gave us an even more spectacular show the second time around. From seeing the singer tease new music to bringing countless surprise guests on stage, this New Year’s show was truly a gift that kept on giving.

The second edition of Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party saw Dolly Parton replace Pete Davidson as Cyrus’ co-host, and she proved to be a perfect choice. The country legend also happens to be Cyrus’ godmother, and it was a joy to watch them perform together. The medley of “Wrecking Ball” and “I Will Always Love You” stands out as one of the night’s best moments.

Cyrus had a time of her life sharing the stage with other artists, from David Byrne to Fletcher and Latto. The show was full of surprises, and one of the biggest shockers came when she started performing Paris Hilton’s 2006 hit “Stars Are Blind”, only to have Sia and Hilton herself join her on stage.

Cyrus also saw her New Year’s show as the perfect chance to tease some new music, coming our way in 2023. She announced that the single “Flowers” is hitting the shelves on January 13 and she posted a mysterious countdown on her website following this announcement.
