The cast of the new Matrix film is getting hotter by the day.
Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will be reprising their respective roles as Neo and Trinity in the fourth film in the science-fiction franchise that was confirmed in August.
But they won’t be doing it alone.
It has now been announced that Neil Patrick Harris has decided to choose the red pill.
The How I Met Your Mother actor is the latest addition to the ensemble cast, though his role has not yet been revealed.
Also joining The Matrix 4 is Aquaman star, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who is rumored to be playing a younger version of Laurence Fishburne’s character, Morpheus.
One half of the Wachowskis — Lana — will be back at the helm, as well as producing and writing the screenplay alongside Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell.
The film is expected to begin production at the beginning of 2020.
