Netflix Announces “Wednesday” Season 2 Cast With a New Teaser

The second season of Wednesday just kicked off production, and it will be as star-studded as it gets. Netflix announced the Season 2 cast with a new teaser, which reveals that Billie Piper, Noah Taylor, and Joanna Lumley will soon join Jenna Ortega in the hit fantasy series.

Thing is busy at work in the new teaser and he can be seen delivering new scripts to the cast. Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Joy Sunday are among the returning cast members receiving new scripts along with Joanna Lumley as Grandmama, Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort, Billie Piper as Capri, and Thandiwe Newton as Dr. Fairburn.

They’re not the only newcomers joining Season 2—the cast will also include Evie Templeton (Return to Silent Hill), Owen Painter (Tiny Beautiful Things), Noah Taylor (Game of Thrones), Frances O’Connor (The Missing), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Haley Joel Osment (The Kominsky Method), Heather Matarazzo (The Princess Diaries), and Joonas Suotamo (Star Wars).

Season 2 will feature a mix of new and familiar faces, but it will also mark the departure of Season 1 series regulars Percy Hynes White, Jamie McShane, and Naomi J Ogawa.

Wednesday kicked off Season 2 production in Ireland, and Netflix it’s eying the 2025 release date.
