Netflix Cancels “Travelers”

Eric McCormack, MacKenzie Porter, Reilly Dolman, Jared Abrahamson, and Nesta Cooper in "Travelers"

There’s no going back in time to reverse the fate of one of Netflix’s most adored shows…

Travelers is about special agents from the future travelling back to the present day to save the future of the human race.

After 3 seasons, the streaming service has decided not to produce a fourth.

Eric McCormack, who starred as the show’s lead character throughout its run, confirmed the news to fans via Twitter.

“A lot of you have been asking about the possibility of a season four, but many of you have been saying, ‘Look, if this is it, what a moving and surprising and profound ending it is,’” he said in a video message. “Well, I’m afraid it is [the end]. Who knows what the future holds, but Travelers Program 1, as we call it, is complete… Protocol 5. Much love from 3468 in the 21st.”

All 3 season of the beloved series will still be available on Netflix — hopefully for many centuries to come.
