Netflix Is Not Here For That Ted Bundy Perving

Zac Efron in "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile"

Netflix’s offerings of late have caused the streaming service to have to release some pretty peculiar requests.

First we had the Bird Box Challenge, where people attempted to imitate the characters in Sandra Bullock’s film by performing everyday tasks while blindfolded.

The high number of injuries prompted Netflix to issue a warning.

“Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes,” stated the caution posted on Twitter.

And it seems that Netflix once again has to urge viewers not to do stupid things…

With Zac Efron’s Ted Bundy biopic, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, currently in the news, many on the internet have taken a new interest in the mass serial killer, going so far as to call him “hot.”

Netflix, too, has a Ted Bundy feature, in the form of the documentary series Conversations With a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, and has called on viewers to have a little perspective…

“I’ve seen a lot of talk about Ted Bundy’s alleged hotness and would like to gently remind everyone that there are literally THOUSANDS of hot men on the service — almost all of whom are not convicted serial murderers.”

Maybe stay away from You, too…
