To All the Boys franchise is one of Netflix’s biggest hits, and its story continued with the new spin-off XO, Kitty. Kitty Song Covey took center stage in the new series, and her journey of self-discovery will go on after the streaming giant announced the show’s Season 2 renewal.

Kitty Song Covey was a supporting character in the To All the Boys movies, and she pushed her older sister Lara Jean to find her one true love. The teen matchmaker thought she knew everything there is to know about relationships, but in XO, Kitty she comes to learn that things are much more complicated when your own feelings are on the line.

XO, Kitty opens with its titular heroine embarking on a journey to find one true love of her own and traveling halfway across the world to South Korea to reconnect with her long-distance boyfriend.

In addition to Anna Cathcart as Kitty, this series stars Choi Min-young, Anthony Keyvan, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Peter Thurnwald, and Regan Aliya. John Corbett and Sarayu Rao also reprise their roles from the To All the Boys films, while Kitty’s sisters Margot (Janel Parrish) and Lara Jean (Lana Condor) are only mentioned in passing…for now.
