Netflix Reveals Stats for the Latest Season of “Stranger Things”

Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, and Noah Schnapp in "Stranger Things."

If you had any doubt that the most recent season of Stranger Things was the best, allow science to back us up.

Netflix released the latest instalment of the Duffer Brothers’ series in July, and millions of subscribers tuned in.

It is not common that the streaming service reveals its viewer statistics, but it seems like things are turning upside down (see what we did there?) because that’s exactly what’s happening.

While the company originally disclosed that 40.7 million accounts had watched the sci-fi show in the first four days of its July 4th debut (making it the largest-ever audience for a movie or TV series in a four-day window), Netflix is now claiming that 64 million member households watched season 3 during the first four weeks since its premiere.

The figures make the third season of Stranger Things the most-watched throughout the series.

No wonder Netflix renewed the show for season 4!
