Netflix has announced that they will be dropping a new horror series based on the Fyre Festival disaster.

The Fyre Festival disaster involved a group of attractive party-goers heading to Barbados for a music festival. When they get there, they realize the festival has been canceled and there are not enough tents. Netflix released a documentary about the incident earlier this year but now, they are taking the idea further in the form of a horror series.

The official series synopsis reads: “When 10 people wake up on a treacherous island with no memory of who they are or how they got there, they set off on a trek to try to get back home.

“They soon discover this world is not as it seems. Faced with the I-Land’s extreme psychological and physical challenges, they must rise to their better selves – or die as their worst ones.”

The cast of individuals will include Kate Bosworth, Alex Pettyfer, Kota Eberhardt, Ronald Peet, Kyle Schmid, Sibylla Deen, Anthony Lee Medina, Gilles Geary, and Michelle Veintimilla.

The I-Land will be released on September 12.
