Nicolette Sheridan’s reign as Alexis Carrington has come to an end.
Multiple outlets report of another cast shake-up in the Dynasty reboot —Nicolette Sheridan has will officially exit the CW series next month.
Sheridan starred as the ever-scheming Alexis Carrington, a role made iconic in the ABC original by Joan Collins. It was her first major television gig following Desperate Housewives. Her final appearance will be in March.
“Nicollette Sheridan will be leaving DYNASTY in order to focus on some personal family responsibilities,” said CBS Television Studios and The CW in a joint statement. “She was a valuable asset to the show and we wish her continued success in the future.”
According to sources the role may actually be recast. Dynasty has been renewed for a third season at The CW.
