Octavia Spencer wants to put a spell on you.

The Oscar-winning actress has been confirmed to join the cast of the new adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Witches.

The children’s book was originally adapted for screen in 1990, with Angelica Huston playing the role of the powerful Grand High Witch who governs the coven of witches in each country.

Almost three decades later, Huston’s role will be taken over by someone with the same initials — Anne Hathaway.

Back to the Future director, Robert Zemeckis, will helm the story about 7-year-old boy who, along with his grandmother, must stop the witches’ deadly plot.

And we can’t think of anyone better to do some witch butt-kicking than Olivia Spencer.

The Shape of Water star will play the grandmother, while newcomers Jahzir Bruno and Codie-Lei Eastick are in negotiations to star as the young boys who have a run-in with The Witches.
