The release date of Olivia Rodrigo’s sophomore studio album Guts is just around the corner, and she gave us another single to amp up the excitement. The nostalgic music video for “Bad Idea Right?” is here and it sees the singer joining forces with some of her best celebrity friends.

This cheeky visual opens with Rodrigo hosting an epic house party, but things quickly take an unexpected turn. While singing about the possibility of getting back with her ex, Rodrigo can be seen leaving her friends and going on a wild ride in an attempt to reconnect with her former flame.

Rodrigo had tons of fun making the music video for “Bad Idea Right?” because she decided to bring some of her besties on board.

“I had such a fun time making this song with Dan Nigro in NYC last year. we wrote the chorus as a joke but we loved it so much we made it into a full-fledged song lol! I had a ball making the music video with my friends Petra Collins, Madison Hu, Tate McRae, and Iris Apatow,” she wrote on social media.

“Bad Idea Right?” was released as the second single from Rodrigo’s upcoming studio album Guts, set to hit the shelves on September 8.
