Only Murders in the Building will return for its third season in just a few weeks, and expectations are running high! Hulu added some more fuel to the fire with a brand-new trailer, which gave us some major hints about the murder mystery that’s about to unfold in Season 3.
The first two seasons of Only Murders saw three strangers obsessed with true crime podcasts join forces to make their own. Season 3 will take Charles, Oliver & Mabel (played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez) on a similar journey, but they’ll stop solving mysteries inside Arconia this time around and take us behind the scenes of a Broadway show.
The Season 2 finale hinted that the next chapter of this story will center on the murder of Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd)—a theatre actor who dropped dead on the opening night of Oliver’s Broadway play. Meryl Streep, Jesse Williams, Ashley Park, Jeremy Shamos, Linda Emond, and Wesley Taylor are also among the new cast members joining the show in Season 3.
Only Murders in the Building will return to Hulu on August 8, and the season premiere will feature two brand-new episodes. Season 3 will include a total of 10 episodes, streaming weekly on Hulu following the two-episode premiere.
