Oh, yes, Harley Quinn, we definitely missed you!
We are almost a year away from the release of the Suicide Squad sequel (try saying that three times fast), and we now have our first look at the bad-ass film.
Margot Robbie will once again be reprising her role as the slightly crazy Harley Quinn, the Joker’s maniacal accomplice.
Except this time, the clown princess is holding down the fort on her own.
In Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), the titular character joins forces with Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) to save Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) from crime-lord Black Mask (Ewan McGregor).
Margot posted a picture of herself in full Harley Queen regalia, along with the caption, “Miss me?”
A short clip released this week shows some of the film’s main players, including the Aussie actress laughing and holding a drink.
Birds of Prey is scheduled for release on the 7th of February, 2020.
