Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may not have a baby in their possession just yet, but they do have a Guinness World Record!
In case you have been in a social media blackout for the last few days, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex now have their own Instagram account.
The individual handle comes in the wake of Harry and his brother, Prince William, splitting their households as the newlyweds move to Frogmore Cottage.
The new account — @sussexroyal — managed to reach 1 million followers in less than six hours, becoming the fastest Instagram account to do so ever!
It has also transpired that the handle was originally used by a British driving instructor who chose it because he supports Reading FC (known as the Royals) and he lives in West Sussex. Instagram’s terms and conditions includes a clause which states that it can make changes to an account if it’s been inactive for a certain amount of time, leaving Kevin Keiley without the handle @sussexroyal.
