Spring 2020 brings with it another royal wedding.

A statement shared by the Royal Family on social media confirms that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will say their “I do’s” on Friday, May 29th, 2020 in The Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace in London.

“The wedding of HRH Princess Beatrice of York and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will take place on Friday 29 May 2020. The Queen has kindly given permission for the ceremony to take place at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace. The ceremony will be followed by a private reception, given by The Queen, in the gardens of Buckingham Palace,” the statement said.

Edoardo and Beatrice’s nuptials won’t be the first to take place there: Queen Victoria wed Prince Albert in 1840, as did King George V and Queen Mary, who exchanged vows in the Chapel Royal in 1893.

Edoardo proposed to Beatrice in Italy in September.

”We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement,” they said in a statement at the time. “We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to be married.”
