Taylor Swift already gave us two re-recorded versions of her old albums, and the third one is on the way.  She announced the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) for this summer and revealed it will feature 22 tracks, including six previously unreleased songs.

Swift shared the exciting news by posting a new album cover in a purple dress, reminiscent of the original photo from the Speak Now cover. She also shared a touching message on social media, explaining that this album stems from an era of her life marked with brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions, and wild wistfulness.

“I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20… I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing… and living to speak about it,” she wrote in a statement.

Swift started working on new versions of her first six studio albums in the wake of the dispute over the ownership of the master recordings with her old label Big Machine Records. Fearless and Red have already been re-recorded, and Speak Now is the third album to get this treatment.

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) will be released on July 7, and it will feature six unreleased “from the vault” tracks that were originally written for this album.
