Sam Smith and Calvin Harris reteamed for more EDM magic on their new single “Desire”, and the music video for this song is finally here. The racing-themed visual sees the duo hitting the race track and taking the wildest ride of their lives.
Smith and Harris kept things fun and simple with this music video, which sees them preparing for their next big race. Smith can mostly be seen singing along to the song’s lyrics, such as, “You are my desire/And just the thought of you is keeping me awake/You take me higher/Take me away.”
The release of the “Desire” music video comes two weeks after the duo dropped this song on July 28. Great things happen whenever Smith and Harris collaborate, and “Desire” already hit No. 12 on the Official Singles Chart in the UK, but it will most likely climb higher following the release of this music video.
“Desire” marks the third collaboration between Smith and Harris, who previously topped the charts in the UK with their hit single “Promises” from 2018. Their partnership didn’t end there, and Harris went on to produce the song “I’m Not Here to Make Friends” from Smith’s fourth studio album Gloria.
