“Schitt’s Creek” Heads to Comedy Central, Final Season to Premiere on Netflix

Schitt’s Creek had a history-making night at the Primetime Emmy Awards, winning seven awards including best comedy series, and earning a total of nine Emmy’s altogether with an additional two awards at the Creative Arts Emmys.

Starting October 2, Comedy Central will be airing all six seasons with five episodes to air per week every Friday. Netflix, which already airs the first five seasons, will air the final season on October 7.

The series which stars creator Daniel Levy and his father Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, and Annie Murphy, premiered in January 2015 and the sixth and final season wrapped up in April 2020. Schiit’s Creek is the second-most-watched show acquired by Netflix in March this year and it’s about an affluent family who moves to a small-town hotel after losing everything they own.
