The fifth installment of Scream finds its directors.
Multiple outlets confirm that Ready or Not directors Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are officially attached to helm the reboot of the horror franchise, Scream 5.
It will be the first movie in the franchise to not be directed by Wes Craven, who passed away in 2015.
The project from Spyglass Media Group was first revealed in fall 2019, but Scream 5‘s story details are still unclear.
The original Scream debuted in 1996 and was followed by three sequels released in 1997, 2000 and 2011. The four films earned a combined $608 million in worldwide box office.
