Fans of Bridgerton got the most amazing present this Christmas! Netflix marked the anniversary of the smash-hit period drama in the best way possible—by revealing the release date for its upcoming second season.

Netflix dropped a cheeky video that features several cast members set to appear in Season 2, including the leads Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley. They gathered around to read a letter from Lady Whistledown herself, which reveals the show will return on March 25.

Netflix also used this opportunity to drop more details about the plot of Season 2, and here’s what we can expect from it, according to the official logline.

“The second season of Bridgerton follows Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Bailey) as he sets out to find a suitable wife. Driven by his duty to uphold the family name, Anthony’s search for a debutante who meets his impossible standards seems ill-fated until Kate and her younger sister Edwina Sharma arrive from India.”

In addition to Bailey, Claudia Jessie, Luke Newton, Luke Thompson, Nicola Coughlan, Adjoa Andoh, and more are expected to reprise their roles from Season 1. Regé-Jean Page previously announced he doesn’t intend to return as the Duke of Hastings, while Phoebe Dynevor, who played his wife Daphne Bridgerton, is expected to appear through Season 2.
