But the 26 year old (who has an extremely impressive 144 million followers, which should not be scoffed at) has now been relegated to second place.

Portuguese football player, Cristiano Ronaldo!
The Juventus star also has 144 million Instagram fans — but just a few hundred more than the singer.
Selena’s last post was mid-September in which she announced that she was taking a break from social media, so it is possible she could regain her title once she is active again.
Until then, we hope Cristiano doesn’t score an own goal!
