Starz gave us one of their most successful shows to date with crime drama Power, and they’re currently busy expanding its universe. The third spin-off based on this series is in the works, and it will focus on Joseph Sikora’s character Tommy Egan.
Tommy is a criminal partner and lifelong best friend of James St. Patrick, the main character of the original show Power. The new spin-off series, titled Power Book IV: Force, will show him cutting ties with people from his past and trying to leave his life in New York behind.
This is not the only spin-off of this crime drama currently in the works. Power Book II: Ghost is expected to premiere this fall, with Power Book III: Raising Kanan on the way, and Starz president of programming Christina Davis has high hopes for all of these projects.
“Power has been one of the most successful series in premium pay television during its six-year run, garnering more than 10 million multiplatform views in its last two seasons and we can’t wait to take fans in a whole new direction as we pick-up Tommy’s story with Power Book IV: Force,” said Davis in a statement.
