Gary Dauberman has been set to direct the forthcoming adaption of Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot.
Multiple outlets report that Dauberman who was already on board the project as a screenwriter, will now direct from his own script.
The 1975 story centers on an author who returns to his hometown when he discovers that the townspeople are slowly being turned into vampires. Salem’s Lot was previously adapted to the small screen, but this will be the first time the story’s been adapted for the big screen.
Dauberman made his feature directorial debut last summer with Annabelle Comes Home.
