]]>The pair, who are parents to four children, are expecting another addition to their brood.
The past six months have not been easy for the Saturday Night Live actor or the yoga instructor. In April they announced that they were expecting their fifth child, but later that month, the couple revealed that they had suffered a miscarriage.
The 35-year-old let the public in on the unfortunate news in an effort to normalize miscarriage.
“I want to be a part of the effort to normalize miscarriage and remove the stigma from it. There is so much secrecy during the first trimester,” she wrote at the time.
But now, five months after the tragedy, Hilaria has shared the good news.
. The sound of this strong heart makes me so happy—especially because of the loss we experienced in the spring. We want to share this news as we are excited and don’t want to hide the pregnancy. These first few months are tough with exhaustion and nausea…and I don’t want to have to pretend that I feel ok. My one request is that the media not send paparazzi to follow me or buy independent paparazzi photos, hence encouraging them. I want to remain peaceful during this very early time in my pregnancy and getting chased around by cameras is not in the doctor’s orders “It is still very early… but we have learned that there is a little person inside of me,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a video of her fetus’s heartbeat. “The sound of this strong heart makes me so happy – especially because of the loss we experienced in the spring.”
