Director Colin Trevorrow shared a photo from the set to mark the first day of filming revealing the feature’s official title — Jurassic World: Dominion.

The sixth film in the Jurassic franchise is the next chapter in the humans versus dinosaurs epic and is expected to feature the aftermath of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, when dinosaurs escaped captivity. 

Trevorrow will direct from a script he co-wrote with Emily Carmichael from a story by Derek Connolly.

Jurassic World: Dominion will feature franchise stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill are set to reprise their roles from the 1993 original film. Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Justice Smith and Daniella Pineda will also return.

We’re the first to admit that we were devastated when Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced that they were calling it quits.

The couple had been a red carpet favorite during their 9-year marriage and are parents to 6-year-old son Jack.

A year after separating from Anna, the Jurassic World: Forbidden Kingdom star began dating Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Katherine is the eldest daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria Shriver.

Chris will now get to call the former Governor of California his father-in-law after proposing to the 29-year-old author.

“Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you,” he wrote alongside a photo of the two hugging. “Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”

Anna shared her well wishes for the happy couple — who were introduced by the bride-to-be’s mom — by commenting on the Instagram post, “I’m so happy for you both! Congratulations!”

Lead actor, Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord posted a biblical verse reminding others of the importance of listening:
