And although Donda never got to meet Kanye’s 3 children — or the 4th who is on its way — she did get to meet his wife, Kim Kardashian.

The meeting occurred in 2007 as Kim and Kanye were friends before shacking up and settling down.

One of Kim’s fans shared a photo her on Twitter, prompting the 38 year old to share the story behind the image.

“Fun Fact,” Kim wrote. “In this pic I was on my way to meet Kanye for his ‘Good Life’ performance for the MTV Awards. I didn’t really know him but his people called my people lol & I was a girl in the audience at the live performance in Vegas. I met his mom Donda this same night.”
