]]>According to Amazon’s official synopsis, Gen V centers on a group of aspiring heroes, who have their physical and moral boundaries put to the test while competing for Godolkin University’s highly coveted top ranking. They must decide what type of heroes they are going to become after the university’s dark secrets come to light.
The main cast of this project includes Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, and Patrick Schwarzenegger. Several The Boys stars are expected to make cameos, including Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and P.J. Byrne.
Gen V will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 29, and it’s been developed by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke. Kripke also developed The Boys for Amazon, drawing inspiration from the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, set in the world of corrupt superheroes and vigilantes trying to bring them down.
