]]> Colleen Hoover’s bestselling book It Ends with Us is finally getting Hollywood treatment this summer, and its first trailer just hit the shelves. Blake Lively leads the cast as Lily Bloom, a small-town girl who moves to Boston to chase her dreams and finds herself stuck in a complicated love triangle.

It Ends with Us tells the tale of Lily Bloom, who managed to overcome a traumatic childhood and move to Boston, where she’s living the dream after opening her own business. Her life takes a turn for the better when she falls deeply in love with charming neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni), but cracks soon start to show.

As their relationship progresses, Lily starts to see the side of Ryle that reminds her of her parents’ rocky relationship. Things get even more complicated when she reconnects with her first love Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar) and is forced to make an impossible choice for her future.

In addition to playing one of the lead roles, Justin Baldoni also directed the film, based on the script by Christy Hall. Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj, Amy Morton, Isabela Ferrer, and Alex Neustaedter also star in supporting roles.

It Ends with Us will be released in theatres by Sony Pictures on August 9.
