Writer Valentina Garza, showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman, and star Gina Rodriguez are working on a spin-off to the show.

According to Variety, the off-shoot will be an anthology series which draws inspiration from Jane’s novels, allowing each season to be a different book with a new storyline and set of characters.

No premiere date has been confirmed as yet, but at least it will not be as heartbreaking saying goodbye to our favorite telenovela when the final season airs next year.
