This record will see the singer look back at the emotional journey she’s taken over the course of the past two decades and reflect on some of the rumors that have been following her for years.

“People think they know things about what happened to me along the way, the men I was with – but they really have no idea, and a lot of times they get it so wrong. There’s a part of me that was hiding a side of myself from everyone,” J. Lo told Vogue.

Like the original album it draws inspiration from, This Is Me… Now largely centers on her relationship with Ben Affleck, and it even features a sequel to the song “Dear Ben” titled “Dear Ben Pt. II”. The album will feature a total of 13 tracks, and J. Lo is yet to share its release date. It’s her first studio album since A.K.A. in 2014, which debuted in the top ten on the Billboard 200 chart.

The couple ushered in the era of Bennifer 2.0 when they rekindled their romance last spring, and it didn’t take them long to become a married couple. They obtained the license in Clark County, Nevada over the weekend and made things official in a late-night ceremony at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

It didn’t take long for the news of their wedding to break the internet, and J. Lo officially announced she’s now “Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck” in her “On the JLo” newsletter. She reflected on “the best night of [their] lives” in a lengthy post, saying it was exactly what they wanted.

“When love is real, the only thing that matters in marriage is one another and the promise we make to love, care, understand, be patient, loving, and good to one another. We had that. And so much more. Best night of our lives” wrote the singer.

Lopez and Affleck initially dated between 2002 and 2004 and cited excessive media attention as the reason for their split. Lopez tied the knot with Marc Anthony following their breakup, while Affleck went on to marry Jennifer Garner, but both marriages resulted in divorce over a decade later.

Lopez’s performances both on stage and on screen will be recognized including her award-winning 2020 Super Bowl halftime performance and her role in Hustlers.

Lopez’s next role is in Marry Me alongside Owen Wilson and Maluma, which is set for Valentine’s Day 2021 release date. Last week, she released new music videos with Maluma for their Marry Me soundtrack collaborations “Pa Ti” and “Lonely”.

Her music credits include selling over 75 million records worldwide, including 40 million albums, 16 top 10 hit songs, and three No. 1 albums. 

The E! People’s Choice Awards will broadcast live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Sunday, November 15.

It’s been three months since the epic halftime performance at Super Bowl LIV featuring the two Latinas. To mark the occasion, Lopez shared six behind-the-scenes videos from the rehearsals that led to their performance in February. 

“I can’t believe it’s already been 3 months since the #SuperBowlLIV#Halftime Show! So much has happened since then, but I wanted to share a fun peek behind the scenes at our first rehearsal with the dancers and Shakira,” she captioned the clips.

The National Football League is reportedly in talks with Jennifer Lopez to be the headline act for 2020 after the Hustlers actress made their top 5 list of entertainers.

The “Not Your Momma” singer has just completed her It’s My Birthday world tour so is in fine shape to perform on one of the world’s biggest stages.

The 50-year-old previously said, “We’ve thought about the Super Bowl and it’s in Miami, it’s a big deal but we’ll see. They make their own decisions over there.”

If Ms Lopez is the chosen one, she’ll follow in the footsteps of Maroon 5, the Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry, The Rolling Stones, and Madonna, amongst others.

The 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show will take place at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on February 2nd.

Despite being nominated for 22 VMAs in her time, Miss Lopez has only won twice. Though she can change that this year as her song Dinero has been nominated for Best Latin and Best Collaboration.

“It is amazing, honestly. Growing up on MTV and watching all my idols get this award… To be the recipient this year, I can’t even believe it. I’m so excited,” said Jennifer.
