Nicole Snooki Polizzi announced that she won’t be returning after season three on her podcast, It’s Happening With Snooki & Joey, “It’s definitely a hard decision … I’m gonna throw up. Okay, you guys, I love you so much and don’t hate me for my decision, but I have to do what’s best for me at the moment, and I am retiring from Jersey Shore … I hate being away from the kids, I don’t like partying three days in a row, it’s just not my life anymore.”

Jersey Shore just celebrated their 10th anniversary, they’ve been on MTV since 2009! Now, that’s a long time. The cast went from self-professed guidos and guidettes to reality-star royalty. Although the show won’t be the same without Snooki, we’re glad she is making time for her family. Who knows, maybe she’ll make some guest appearances?
