Multiple outlets report that Kaley Cuoco has been cast in the film and will star alongside Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson. The role is Cuoco’s first major role after starring on CBS’ The Big Bang Theory for twelve seasons. 

The action-comedy film is directed by The Hitman’s Bodyguard filmmaker Patrick Hughes from a script penned by Robbie Fox and Chris Bremner. 

Man From Toronto is a story of mistaken identity. After the world’s deadliest assassin, known as the “man from Toronto,” and a stranger, played by Hart, run into each other at an Airbnb, chaos ensues.

Cuoco will next be seen in HBO Max’s limited series The Flight Attendant.

It is reported that the series centers on a group of adults at a night school GED prep class who unexpectedly bond over their shared experience and find themselves helping each other both inside and outside of the classroom. 

Hart, in addition to starring, co-writing and producing the 2018 film, will executive produce the pilot along with Will Packer and the film’s director Malcolm D. Lee. 

The Night School series adaptation is NBC’s first official pilot order of the season.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced last week that Kevin Hart would take the hosting reins for its 2019 ceremony.

At the time, the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star stated on Instagram that the gig had been a goal of his for many years.

News of the comedian’s role was not received entirely positively, with the LGBTQ community condemning his selection for homophobic comments he had made in the past, including, “If I can prevent my son from being gay, I will.”

Hart responded with an Instagram post in which he told critics to stop being negative.

Following the outcry, Kevin has now stepped down as host of the 91st Academy Awards and issued an apology to the community.

I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.

Following Kevin’s decision, President of LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD, Sarah Kate Ellis, said: “Kevin Hart shouldn’t have stepped down; he should have stepped up. Hart’s apology to LGBTQ people is an important step forward, but he missed a real opportunity to use his platform and the Oscars stage to build unity and awareness.”

Back in 2005, the Girls Trip star was a struggling actress on a comedy sketch-show who couldn’t afford rent and was living in her car.

Her co-star at the time found out about this and lent the comedienne $300.

That co-star was fellow comedian, Kevin Hart.

Now that the pair have both made a name for themselves and are doing well, Tiffany wants to pay back Kevin’s generosity — but the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor is not making it easy.

“I love my sister @tiffanyhaddish… She has been trying to pay me back for years & I refused to take the money so she ambushed me on set and made it rain on me… What she doesn’t know is that I put the money back in one of her wig caps that she wasn’t wearing later that day!!!! I’m dead serious,” Kevin captioned a video on Instagram.

But the 38-year-old actress ain’t givin’ up that easy…

“You getting this money back. I am paying you back! I pay all my loans off,” she declared.
