Lohan and Curtis are expected to return as mother-daughter duo Anna and Tess Coleman, who switched their bodies in the first film, but plot details are still being kept under wraps.
The duo recently set down with The New York Times for a 20th-anniversary interview and revealed they’d like to come back for a sequel.
“Jamie and I are both open to that, so we’re leaving it in the hands that be. We would only make something that people would absolutely adore,” said Lohan.
Curtis echoed her statement and told The New York Times that the success of Halloween Ends inspired her to revisit another one of her iconic characters, especially after so many people wanted to know if there was going to be another Freaky Friday.
Freaky Friday was the third and the most successful adaptation of Mary Rodgers’s novel of the same name, and it went on to become a 2000s classic after earning $160 million worldwide.

]]>According to multiple outlets, the actress will play a police detective in the film, which tells the story of renowned psychiatrist Dr. David Elder, who is in a race to stop an escaped psychiatric patient from killing five people held hostage in a remote house.
She will star opposite Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke, who’s on board to play the psychiatrist.
Cursed was penned by Ian Holt and will be directed by Steven R. Monroe.
Lohan’s latest projects include the MTV reality series Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club and serving as a judge on The Masked Singer Australia.
