]]> 37-year-old pop star Christina Aguilera just announced she will be going on her first tour in 10 years to promote the new album titled Liberation, which will come out on June 15.

The last time she went on tour was during 2006-2008. This year, her first concert will be on September 25 followed by another 24 dates all over North America.

Aguilera commented on her upcoming tour for Billboard magazine saying, “Touring is so frightening to me because I am a mom first. It’s part of why I stayed in the position I was. It’s easy to get comfortable and cushy in the same place and not have to worry about uprooting your kids. I’ve been putting myself on the back burner… [but] it needs to happen. I’m looking forward to getting back out and actually showing my kids what Mommy really does!”
