RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race will be four-parts and it will debut on April 24 after an all-new episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race. It promises to be “the most star-studded competition in herstory.”

Each episode of the series will feature three stars from film, music, television, and comedy getting drag makeovers to transform into heir inner queens. They will compete in fan-favorite competitions from previous seasons of Drag Race to win money for their charities and be named “America’s Next Celebrity Drag Race Superstar.”

“The Queen Supremes” will help serve the looks and they include alums Alyssa Edwards, Asia O’Hara, Bob the Drag Queen, Kim Chi, Monét X Change, Monique Heart, Nina West, Trinity the Tuck, Trixie Mattel, and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo.

“RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race is a blast,” said RuPaul. “We put these celebrities through it! Because no matter how famous your charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent is, you still put your pantyhose on one leg at a time.”

The renowned drag queen series recently came to the UK for the first time. It currently airs on BBC and each week, 6.5 million people tune in to get their RuPaul fix. The show’s popularity overseas has now lead to the show being renewed for a second season.

The news means that applications are now open for new queens. The announcement was made via the official RuPaul Twitter account. It reads: “That’s right Queens, there’s going to be a Series Two of #DragRaceUK! All you need to apply is Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent.”

The BBC has commissioned eight episodes for the second season. It is scheduled to air in January 2020, so you won’t need to wait long for new levels of charisma and fabulousness.
