The forthcoming season Four of Stranger Things will see the addition of eight new cast members.

Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd), Eduardo Franco (Booksmart) and Joseph Quinn (Catherine the Great) join as series regulars, with Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Game of Thrones alum Tom Wlaschiha, Sherman Augustus (Into the Badlands, Westworld), Mason Dye (The Goldbergs) and Nikola Djuricko (Genius), cast in recurring roles.

Bower will play Peter Ballard, a caring man who works as an orderly at a psychiatric hospital. Franco will play Argyle, Jonathan’s new best friend. Quinn joins as Eddie Munson, a metalhead who runs Hawkins High’s official D&D club. Englund will play Victor Creel, a disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s. Wlaschiha will play Dmitri, a Russian prison guard who befriends Hopper—who we know did in fact survive the events of the Season Three finale and is now being held as a prisoner in the Soviet Union.

The title of Season Four’s opening episode is The Hellfire Club. The Stranger Things‘ Twitter account has already started teasing fans, and they in return have already begun raising speculations about what kind of club it is.

Netflix renewed Stranger Things for a fourth season in September 2019.

Multiple outlets confirm that HBO has picked up Westworld for another season. Joy and Nolan remain on board as they have a deal in place that keeps them with the drama for up to six seasons. 

“From the western theme park to the technocratic metropolis of the near future, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed every twist and turn from the minds of master storytellers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy,” said Casey Bloys, president of HBO Programming. “We can’t wait to see where their inspired vision takes us next.”

Season three, however, saw a major drop in viewership averaging 1.7 million viewers, including 901,000 linear versus 2.05 million in season two. 

In season 3, Aaron Paul, Vincent Cassel, and Lena Waithe joined Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Thandie Newton. The season further explores questions about the nature of reality, free will, and what makes us human.

Multiple outlets confirm that Stranger Things star Priah Ferguson has been upped to series regular for the show’s upcoming fourth season. 

Ferguson plays Erica Sinclair, the little sister of Caleb McLaughlin’s Lucas. She appeared in four episodes of season two, before moving up to a recurring role in season three. She mostly shared the screen with series stars Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery and Maya Hawke.

Ferguson’s other credits include roles in shows including Atlanta at FX and Daytime Divas at VHI.

Season 3 of Stranger Things dropped on the streaming giant in July 2019 and was renewed for a fourth season in September. The latest trailer for the upcoming season, which dropped last week, confirmed that David Harbour’s Hopper survived the event of the season three finale.

Multiple outlets confirm that the singer-songwriter is set to guest-star on NBC’s hit family drama. 

News of Legend’s appearance was revealed in a promo for the second half of Season 4 that aired during the Golden Globes on Sunday. 

While his role has yet to be confirmed, the clip shows Legend looking dapper as usual at the piano, so it’s fair to assume he will be playing himself in the show. 

Legend joins other guest stars confirmed for Season 4 of This Is Us, including Omar Epps, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Tim Matheson, and Timothy Omundson in addition to Sylvester Stallone, Ron Howard and M. Night Shyamalan who played themselves. 

This Is Us returns Tuesday, January 14th.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which has recently premiered its third season (December 6), has been renewed for a fourth season. 

The renewal was confirmed by Amazon Thursday with a tweet reading, “It’s time for an encore. #MrsMaisel is returning for Season 4!”

“We were thrilled to hear that for the fourth time, we do not have to pack up and vacate the premises,” said Creator and Executive Producer Amy Sherman-Palladino and Executive Producer Daniel Palladino. “We’d like to thank Amazon for all their faith and support, their partnership and enthusiasm, and for letting us hang with our favorite people, the cast and crew of Maisel, for a little while longer.”
