Yup, that’s the premise for the next Toy Story film.

As we saw in the teaser trailer released a few months ago, Woody, Buzz, and the others have a new member of the gang — Forky.

The latest trailer released by Disney and Pixar reveals that Forky is a actually a piece of cutlery that was made into a toy by Bonnie and that he is none too happy about it.

“You are the going to create memories that will last for the rest of her life,” Woody says while trying to convince him.

As usual, the toys find themselves way out of their box — this time on a family road trip — only to get lost. But, good news for Woody is that he is reunited with his old friend Bo-Peep.

Will everyone make it back home —including Forky?

Toy Story 4 opens on the 19th of June, 2019.

Our favorite set of toys are set to return to our screens next year when Toy Story 4 makes its debut, 9 years after the last installment.

The teaser trailer was recently released and it showed all to be well among Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Mr. Potato Head, and all the others — until a new toy called Forky throws everyone off balance — literally.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the voice behind Buzz, Tim Allen, revealed that the forthcoming film is likely to leave us weeping.

“The last scene of that movie was… I couldn’t even get through it,” he told Jimmy. “And I thought there was pages after it. And I read it, and I had to turn around from looking at it in studio. It was so emotional.”

But despite warning us to bring tissues, the Last Man Standing star also let us in a new cast members joining the movie.

“I can’t give anything away. It’s about different kind of toys. They really will surprise you with the toys they come up with. [Old] characters came back. New guys are in it that are great. Keanu Reeves has got a great part. Inside story, even the fun, gentle guy that he is, even he said, ‘This sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear.’ And his character does have an edge to that.”

Be ready to play when Toy Story 4 hits screens on 21 June 2019.

When we last saw the toys, a whopping 8 years ago, Andy had handed over possession of the characters to his younger sister, Bonnie.

And now we have our first look at the new chapter in the story!

The teaser trailer introduces a new character, Forky, who seems to believe he is not a toy…

“Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie,” the film’s description reads. “But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called ‘Forky’ to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.”
