Kate Hudson will be making her first regular television role debut in the quasi-anthology series created by Nichelle Tramble Spellman and produced by Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, Chernin Entertainment, and Endeavor Content.

The second season of Truth Be Told is set to start production on October 26 and it will focus on America’s obsession with true crime podcasts. Hudson will play Micah Keith, a lifestyle guru and longtime friend of true crime podcaster Poppy Parnell (Octavia Spencer). The two ladies will work on a new case that involves them and puts their relationship to the ultimate test.
