However, it has now been confirmed that Woodstock 50 will not be going ahead.

Vendors and stakeholders were notified that Miley Cyrus, The Lumineers, The Raconteurs, Jay-Z, the Dead & Co., and John Fogerty had pulled out and would not be performing.

“We are saddened that a series of unforeseen setbacks has made it impossible to put on the Festival we imagined with the great line-up we had booked and the social engagement we were anticipating,” said co-founder of Woodstock, Michael Lang.

More than 400,000 music lovers attended the original 3-day festival in Bethel that is still regarded as one of the greatest musical events of all time.
