“Tenet” Tops $300M Globally

The new Christopher Nolan feature has officially hit the $300 million mark globally.

The action-thriller penned and helmed by Nolan has willed itself past the $300 million mark for a global total of $307 million with the domestic and global box office numbers combined.

Tenet is the first (and only) major release for a long while due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. The film has failed to haul the numbers a Nolan feature would normally gross, which most likely means that Warner Bros. film is set to lose millions during its theatrical run. According to Variety, however, the decision to release Tenet in theaters is part to the studio’s strategy, believing that it will in fact make more money by launching in theaters than it would have if it had debuted on HBO Max.

Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh.
