Get your calendars out and write this down.

Just two months after the 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards honored the best in television, the Television Academy has announced the date for the next installment.

2019’s version of the Emmys has been set for the 22nd of September.

The Academy will be trying by all means to up the ratings experienced this year, which saw a record-low of 10.2 million viewers tune in for the ceremony on September 17th.

It marked an 11% decrease in total viewers from 2017, when the 69th annual ceremony drew 11.4 million viewers.

Despite the falling figures, the awards themselves made history with Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel — which scooped 8 awards — marking the first time a comedy from a streaming network has won Best Comedy Series in the history of the Awards.

It is still too early to tell whether Colin Jost and Michael Che of Saturday Night Live will reprise their roles as hosts.
