The new season of The Crown is coming our way this fall, and it will feature two key figures that defined the cultural landscape of the United Kingdom during the ‘80s—Princess Diana and Margaret Thatcher. New stills from the fourth season are here and offer the first look at these characters.

Princess Diana will be portrayed by newcomer Emma Corrin, and the stills show her in a floor-length purple dress and a pale yellow two-piece suit. The upcoming season is expected to chronicle Diana’s romantic relationship with Prince Charles, which eventually led to their marriage.

Gillian Anderson will take on the role of the notorious British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. She’s expected to be prominently featured in the new season, as the series examines her uneasy relationship with Queen Elizabeth II, played by Olivia Colman.

In addition to Colman, Tobias Menzies, Helena Bonham Carter, Erin Doherty, and Josh O’Connor are expected to reprise their respective roles from the third season. The Crown will return to Netflix on November 15th.
