“The Handmaid’s Tale” Renewed For Season 4

June isn’t leaving Gilead just yet.

Hulu has announced that The Handmaid’s Tale, based on the novel of the same name, will be returning for a fourth season. Praise be!

Elisabeth Moss stars as the unfortunate titular character who is forced to live as a concubine in a dystopian version of what used to be the United States.

Despite the events of Margaret Atwood’s book being covered in the first season, the series was returned for two more. And soon to be three.

The announcement of The Handmaid’s renewal came at the Television Critics Association event, with Hulu claiming that the show is the most popular on its streaming service.

The series already has 11 Emmy Awards to its name, including Outstanding Drama Series, and awards for Moss and Ann Dowd.

The third season of The Handmaid’s Tale is currently airing and will conclude on August 14th.
