“The Handmaid’s Tale” Teaser: Elisabeth Moss is Ready to Take on Gilead

Hulu has released the first teaser for Season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale which is set to return in 2021.

Production for the upcoming season was put on hold in mid-March due to the coronavirus and the teaser for Season 4 shows that Elisabeth Moss’ June Osborne is very much alive after suffering from a gunshot wound at the end of the previous season. June’s ready to continue her revenge on Gilead and to move all the children of Gilead to Canada.

“I can’t rest. My daughter deserves better,” she says in the teaser. In addition to starring in the series, Moss will be directing it, making it her directorial debut.

The Handmaid’s Tale also stars Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears, Eric Tuchman, John Weber, Frank Siracusa, Sheila Hockin, Kira Snyder, and Yahlin Chang.

The Primetime Emmy winning series was created by Bruce Miller based on the novel by Margaret Atwood and it’s about a dystopian America where fertile women are forced into child-bearing slavery.
