The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is returning for its fifth season this spring, but this will also mark its final chapter. Amazon just gave us a taste of things to come by dropping the first full trailer for the fifth and final season of the award-winning comedy series.

Season 5 will see Midge Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) finally find herself getting closer than ever to the success she’s dreamed of, only to discover that closer than ever is still so far away. She’s trying to navigate the world of stand-up comedy with the help of her manager Susie (Alex Borstein), only to learn it’s “two steps forward, three steps back” no matter where you go.

In addition to Brosnahan and Borstein, Season 5 will also star Michael Zegen, Marin Hinkle, Tony Shalhoub, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron, Luke Kirby, Reid Scott, Jason Ralph, and Alfie Fuller.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel premiered in 2017 to rave reviews and went on to win 20 Primetime Emmy Awards, including outstanding comedy series and acting awards for Brosnahan, Borstein, and Shalhoub.

Season 5 will premiere on April 14 on Amazon Prime Video, and it will feature a total of nine episodes premiering weekly following the three-episode premiere.
