Freedom has opted not to renew its Party of Five reboot.

The network has canceled the immigration-centered reboot after one season only. News of the cancelation comes a little over a month after the series aired what is now its series finale.

The reboot followed the five Acosta children as they navigate daily life struggles to survive as a family unit after their parents suddenly are deported back to Mexico. It starred Brandon Larracuente, Emily Tosta, Niko Guardado, and Elle Paris Legaspi as the Acosta children and Bruno Bichir and Fernanda Urrejola as the Acosta parents.

According to Variety, the series averaged only 250,000 Live+Same Day viewers, making it the network’s one of the least-watched shows this season.
