In just a couple of months, Adele will be releasing a new album!
Adele’s last album, 25, was released back in 2015, and since then fans have been waiting for the singer to release new music.
The new album’s announcement was made via social media footage of Adele officiating a wedding over the weekend. Adele is heard saying, “Expect my album in September.”
Adele first hinted about a new album back in May in a social media post for her 31st birthday, “This is 31…thank f—ing god. 30 tried me so hard but I’m owning it and trying my hardest to lean into it all… For the first time in a decade I’m ready to feel the world around me and look up for once… ’30’ will be a drum n bass record to spite you. Chin up, eh.”
Just last month, Adele’s music manager also spoke about a new album with Music Week, “the sooner [it comes out] the better.”
Adele’s known for being on her own timeline as her first album 21 was released in 2011, and since then she’s had one other album, 25, and a stand-alone single “Skyfall.”
