HBO is gearing up for another great season of television, and they’re bringing a great mix of beloved fan favorites and highly-anticipated new shows our way. Their new promo clip offers a glimpse of what’s to come to this network in 2024 and 2025, including the first footage from new seasons of The White Lotus and The Last of Us.
The third season of The White Lotus is taking us to Thailand, and its first look offers a mix of new and familiar faces. Natasha Rothwell makes her big comeback as her beloved Season 1 character Belinda, and she’ll be joined by the likes of Parker Posey, Jason Isaacs, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola.
As for The Last of Us, the long-awaited Season 2 will reunite us with Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey), whose fight for survival wages on. Joel’s intentions toward Ellie are questioned by a mysterious new character played by Catherine O’Hara, who asks tearful Joel if he hurt Ellie in the final beats of HBO’s new promo clip.
Several returning hit shows also make an appearance in HBO’s 2024-2025 teaser, including Industry, My Brilliant Friend, Harley Quinn, The S-x Lives of College Girls, And Just Like That, and The Gilded Age. The promo clip also teases the arrival of multiple hotly-anticipated new shows, including The Penguin, Dune: Prophecy, The Franchise, It: Welcome to Derry, and Game of Thrones spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
