Tom Holland is currently taking theaters by storm with his role in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and we’ll soon get to see him star in another major blockbuster. He set to join forces with Mark Wahlberg in Uncharted, and a new trailer for this video game adaptation is here to rock your world!

Uncharted follows the adventures of the young street-smart fortune hunter Nathan Drake (Holland), who joins forces with his wisecracking mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Wahlberg), as they embark on a dangerous pursuit to find “the greatest treasure never found”.

Uncharted is based on a series of bestselling video games of the same name created by Naughty Dog. This isn’t the first attempt to adapt it, Sony Pictures has actually been developing the project since 2008, with Nathan Fillion and Chris Pratt in talks to star.

After years in development hell, Uncharted will see the light of day on February 18, 2022. In addition to Holland and Wahlberg, it’s also set to star Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas.

Uncharted went through several major delays, even before the COVID-19 pandemic, and Sony made sure to secure streaming rights for the projects. They signed deals with both Disney and Netflix, but the film is expected to only be available after its theatrical and home media windows.
