Music videos give our favorite songs their visual identity and some of them are as iconic as the songs themselves—if not even more. Our favorite artists went all-in when plotting their music videos throughout 2021 and gave us some pretty epic visuals including these five.

Lil Nas X – “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”

No music video since Cardi B’s “WAP” created more buzz than “Montero” and we really have to give credit to Lil Nas X for ignoring the critics and staying unapologetically himself.
